About this service
Rewire Audio Library is a private beta operated by Rewire India. This page explains how the current service handles your information. Last updated: 16 October 2026. For privacy or account questions, contact rewireindia@gmail.com.
Information we store
We store your account email, a protected password hash, sign-in sessions, uploaded audio, original filenames, transcripts, word timings, generated titles, cleanup information and processing status. A recording date may be inferred from its original filename; the upload date is recorded separately. Hosting and service providers may also retain operational logs.
Why we use it
We use this information to authenticate you, maintain your private library, process audio, produce transcripts and titles, synchronize playback and enforce the beta plan allowances. Your recordings and transcripts are not part of the public website demo. Recording access checks account ownership.
Hosting and transcription providers
Recordings and transcripts are stored on our Hostinger hosting. Uploaded audio is sent to Deepgram for speech recognition and word timing. English transcript text may also be sent to Deepgram for topic detection used in automatic titles. These requests use Deepgram’s Model Improvement Program opt-out. Other-language titles and fallback titles are extracted from the transcript on our hosting. Noise reduction and audio editing run on our hosting. Provider systems may process data outside your country; their own privacy policies also apply.
Originals, cleaned audio and Trash
New uploads retain the uploaded original, a playback copy, cleaned audio and the associated transcripts. The first three offline imports have no original versions. Move to Trash hides a recording from the library but retains its audio and transcript so it can be restored. Trash does not permanently erase data, and the beta has no automatic purge or permanent-delete button. Contact us to request permanent removal or account deletion, including information about any retained backups or provider records.
Cookies and choices
The service uses an essential sign-in cookie. Your browser may store theme and reading preferences locally. The app does not include advertising trackers. You can download your audio and text, change titles, use Trash and Restore, or contact us for access, correction and deletion requests. We may need to verify that a request comes from the account owner.
